SANA'A, Jul.29 (Saba) -The technical teams of Water Local Corporation and Sanitation in Amanat Al Asimah in Sana'a carried out emergency works to treat and open blockages in sewage networks, suction rainwater and replace manhole covers.
Technical teams also have started daily work since the arrival of communications to the operations room in early July, to maintain and repair the damage caused to the sewage network due to torrential rains and to treat landslides in more than 17 locations in the directorates of the secretariat.
The General Manager of the Foundation Mohammed Al-Shami stressed the continuation of emergency works and repairs to reduce the damage caused by rainwater and torrential rain and to maintain the sewage network, praising the efforts of the workers and engineers of the institution in the field and dealing with the damage caused by the torrents.
Al-Shami called on citizens not to open the manhole covers and sewage inspection rooms during the rains, to ensure that they do not clog and collapse, and that the sewage returns to homes, streets and neighborhoods.
